I'm a hands-on product design leader who builds and mentors exceptional teams. My passion lies in leading with a clear vision, sweating the details, and upholding craft.

Currently, I serve as the Director of UX for Google Photos and Google One, where I lead a global, multi-disciplinary organization encompassing all design disciplines, user research, and content design. I've had the privilege of envisioning and leading numerous redesigns, always with a focus on delivering value and simplicity to our users. I also spearheaded the most recent Photos brand refresh and have been instrumental in launching dozens of innovative AI-native features to over a billion users worldwide, long before AI was on everyone’s minds.

In my role, I balance building alignment around inspiring, bold, and ambitious long-term visions with the critical need to ensure our day-to-day execution is strong and craft-focused. Some of my favorite recent launches have centered on seamlessly embedding AI features into everyday user journeys, such as editing, search, and reminiscing.

My professional journey began in college when I started doing freelance design and development work, and when I graduated I was able to turn it into a fulltime business with nearly 50 clients. From there, I transitioned to focus on visual and product design, embedding at several agencies before moving in-house to roles at MySpace, Sony Music Entertainment, and Apple. From there, I grew into senior leadership roles at YouTube and Thumbtack, ventured out to co-found a startup, and then found my way back to Google to my current role.
